- Depression: with excessive expectations that they have to get good marks and get into a good college. It is seen that students put pressure on themselves to meet the expectations and when they do not reach this goal it leads to their mental health deteriorating and getting lower grades.
- Anxiety: Academics and deadlines in school and college causes anxiety which leads to weight gain or weight loss and can deteriorate our hair and skin health.
- Stress: also becomes a part of their life. Overthinking about if they can finish their assignments on time and do well on their tests, and other coaching exams they get. Too much stress can give rise to other health problems, headaches, fever and even irregular menstrual cycles.

How to combat:
- Exercises: Daily exercise, walks for even 30 minutes can help in refreshing the mind and rejuvenating the blood circulation and refreshing the brain so that your thoughts are not clogged during a study session or preparing for an exam
- Music: students dealing with severe anxiety especially during exam season should listen to music that will soothe the nerves and help them in remembering what they have studied
- Hobbies: engage yourself in activities that let you use your creativity and channel your thoughts, art, journaling are some of the hobbies that you can pick up to deal with stressful situations.

- Nutrition and sleep: Acute stress can kill appetite and therefore have nutrition filled food not junk but consuming proper meals, fruits also nourish the brain and along with that proper sleep. It is advised that at least 7 hours sleep is required.
- Meditation: meditation can help in regaining concentration and with the use of essential oil, aromatherapy it can help in soothing down the muscles and nerves.
